Mon 7/2  Arrive Denpasar, Bali at 2:20 pm - transport to Ubud, the cultural center of Bali

Check in to Hotel Tegal Sari in Ubud for 4 nights

Option to get a massage in the late afternoon (about $10/hour)

Tue 7/3  Elephant Safari Park – entrance included to see elephants feeding, bathing, performing

Optional elephant ride costs an additional $40

                Tegalalang for fabulous views of the rice terraces

                Afternoon is free to rest, relax at the hotel pool, shop, eat, massage

                Evening – Balinese dance performance

Wed 7/4 Monkey Forest Sanctuary (long-tailed macaques)

Option for afternoon whitewater rafting (5 miles on river, mild rapids) (about $40)

                Otherwise, afternoon is free for relaxing, massage, shopping

Thu 7/5  Lake Bratan with photogenic lakeside temple (Pura Ulun Danu Bratan)

Fri 7/6    Optional sunrise hike up Batur Volcano (1-2 hours uphill) (about $20)
