Sunday July 26, 2026 – Depart USA to Denpasar, Bali

Monday July 27, 2026 – In transit crossing the International Date Line

Tuesday July 28, 2026 – Arrive Bali, Indonesia

Arrive in Denpasar, Bali in the afternoon.  Drive to Ubud, the cultural center of Bali.  Three nights in Ubud at Hotel Tegal Sari or equivalent.

Wednesday July 29, 2026 – Ubud

Visit Elephant Safari Park to see elephants feeding, bathing, and performing.  Optional elephant ride.  Go to Tegalalang for fabulous views of Bali’s famous rice terraces.  Afternoon is free to rest, relax at the hotel pool, shop, eat, massage.  In the evening see a Balinese dance performance.  Night #2 in Ubud.

Thursday July 30, 2026 – Ubud

Visit Monkey Forest Sanctuary, home to countless long-tailed macaques.  Optional whitewater rafting (5 miles on river, mild rapids, beautiful scenery).  Free afternoon for relaxing, massage, shopping.  Night #3 in Ubud.

Friday July 31, 2026 – Batur Volcano, Ubud to Munduk

Optional sunrise hike up Batur Volcano (1-2 hours uphill; must leave Ubud around 3 AM).  Mid-day departure from Ubud to Lake Bratan with a photogenic lakeside temple.  Two nights in Munduk at Puri Lumbung Cottages or equivalent.

Saturday August 1, 2026 – Munduk and Lake Temblingan

Hike to Munduk Waterfall.  Hike through lush forest around Lake Temblingan, followed by a canoe ride across the lake.  Night #2 in Munduk.

Sunday August 2, 2026 – Munduk to Candi Dasa

Visit Goa Lawah temple with bat cave.  Continue to Candi Dasa, a relaxed town on the coast.   Three nights in Candi Dasa.

Monday August 3, 2026 – Candi Dasa

Visit Tirtagangga “Water Palace” with an option to swim in the cool water.  Spend time at the white sand beach of Pasir Putih, followed by a boat ride back to the hotel.  Afternoon free to relax, swim, massage.

Tuesday August 4, 2026 – Candi Dasa

Free day in Candi Dasa for swimming, relaxing, snorkeling, hiking,shopping.

Wednesday August 5, 2026 – Depart Bali

Depart hotel for 1 hour drive to Denpasar; possibly have time for last minute shopping.  Afternoon flight to USA and arrive home the same day, or extend your travels in Bali or elsewhere.
