Bangladesh is an adventurous and authentic destination, with friendly people, vibrant cities, and almost no foreign tourists. Travel in Bangladesh is colorful and exhilarating, with outstanding photographic opportunities of the people and the culture. Experience Dhaka, Bangladesh’s capital and mega-city. Ride an overnight ferry to Barisal in the Ganges Delta, and then cruise remote rivers to visit villages and observe life along the water. Spend 3 nights on a houseboat in the Sundarbans mangrove forest observing wildlife and quiet nature. The Sundarbans is home to about 100 Bengal tigers, but they are difficult to spot. Fly to Chittagong and visit the hill tracts near the Myanmar border, with lush hills, traditional culture, and spend 2 nights in a comfortable hill resort.
